Here is a look at how a typical engagement might begin . . .

Overpromise and Overdeliver (OPOD)
Phase 1
Senior Leadership Engagement

Step 1 Pre-meeting Activities

  • Executive Interviews – We’ll arrange 3 to 5 executive interviews by telephone, each 30 minutes long, to determine company goals, opportunity areas and culture.

  • Overpromise Survey – We’ll ask you to send out 25 internal and 25 external surveys to collect objective data on your company. The number of responses can be increased later as needed.

  • Expert Pre-analysis – The Overpromise team will analyze all data and prepare the agenda for Part 2.

To gain the most from the onsite meeting, these activities should be completed at least 2 weeks prior to the meeting.

Part 2 Onsite Activities

  • Overpromise and Overdeliver Concept – Present (or review) the OPOD concept to your team

  • Presentation of Our Initial Findings:
    - What do you believe your brand stands for?
    - What is your aspirational brand?
    - Does your product, service or company have an articulated Brand Promise?
          If so, what is it?
    - How powerful is your Brand Promise?
    - How well are your TouchPoints aligned to Overdeliver?
    - Does your structure facilitate the Overpromise methodology?
    - Will your culture embrace the Overpromise methodology?

  • Applying the OPOD Methodology at Your Company:
     - Rapid return opportunities
     - Strategic moves
     - Short-term tactical strikes
     - TouchPoint alignment opportunities
     - Budgets
     - Joint action planning

Note: The Onsite will take 3 to 6 hours with the OPOD leaders and your company’s Executive team.
